Managing Director, Morgan Stanley
Tracy Castle-Newman is a Managing Director in Sales and Trading. She runs the North American Commission Management Team, which is responsible for assisting our clients in creating economic arrangements to effectively manage their commission. She is also the S&T NA Talent Officer.
Tracy joined Morgan Stanley in 1996 as a Product Controller for the Institutional Equity Division where she spent four years in various positions of increasing managerial responsibility. She transferred tin Institutional Equity in May of 2000, joining the Client Focused Marketing Team. In 2004, Tracy formed and led the Client and Business Analytics team, globally. This team was responsible for various key initiatives for the Equity Division including Client Segmentation; Relationship Management; Client Profitability, and Client Resource Allocation. She took on her recent roles in 2006. Tracy is the recruiting team captain for MIT and sits on the LANI Steering Committee.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Tracy spent two years at Bankers Trust in Treasury Operations where she ran the team responsible for the accounting and issuance of Institutional and Retail Structured Derivatives and overnight and long term funding. Prior to Bankers Trust, she spent four years at Bank of New York in a managerial position within retail banking.
Tracy graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute in 1990 with a Bachelors Degree in Finance. She is an active board member of Chamber Dance Project.
