Spring 2017 Office Hours:
Dr. Ye has taught finance courses at Undergraduate, Master and Ph.D. levels including Corporate Finance, Investments, International Finance, Trading and Investing, and doctoral seminar on Institutional Investors . He currently teaches Fixed Income Securities. Because of his outstanding teaching, he received the Student Award in 2014 at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Dr. Ye’s research focuses on the roles of institutional investors including mutual funds, pension funds and hedge funds in capital markets and corporate decision-making. He also conducts empirical research in various corporate finance topics, including mergers and acquisitions (M&As), corporate governance and managerial incentives. His papers have been presented in many selective academic conferences and published in a number of premier journals including the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis (JFQA).
Dr. Ye is a member of the American Finance Association, American Economic Association, Western Finance Association and Financial Management Association.
