Curriculum Vitae



Dr. Ince's research interests include corporate finance, venture capital, financial anomalies, and market efficiency. His current research focuses on the role of firms’ ownership structure on corporate financing and investment decisions, M&A strategy, and stock return predictability. His research has been published in the Journal of Corporate Finance and the Journal of Financial Research.

Dr. Ince's teaching interests are primarily in corporate finance and investments. He is currently teaching Theoretical Corporate Finance for doctoral students, and Venture Capital & Investment Banking for undergraduate students. Prior to joining Virginia Tech, Dr. Ince taught at the University of Florida while pursuing his doctoral degree. Dr. Ince’s teaching has been recognized with teaching awards from the finance department and the college.
