Education and Certification:
MBA in Finance, Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management, 2002 and Bachelor of Science with a major in Economics from Calcutta University, 1999.

She has more than six years of work experience in the field of financial management, banking and wealth management in Citibank, HSBC Ltd. among others. Earlier, she worked in non-banking financial institutions handling credit analysis for infrastructure equipment leasing business, and foreign trade operations. She has also taught for two and half years courses in Corporate Finance and Quantitative Methods at ICFAI Business School, Calcutta, India.

She is a trained Hindustani Semi-classical singer and a dancer.
